Galena Garlic Company celebrates gourmet garlic’s versatility in the kitchen. For owner Laszlo Marton, “Garlic is Life.” He is involved in every step of the process, including the planting of more than 20,000 cloves of garlic by hand on two plots of land nestled in the rolling hills of Jo Daviess County.

Northern Illinois is an ideal location for garlic farming. Its cold winters, warm summers and rich fertile soils, in combination with the Galena Garlic Company’s organic farming practices, produce a thriving crop of garlic. The Galena Garlic Company grows three hardneck garlic varieties – German White, Music and Oregon Blu.

Laszlo believes his products should always be fresh and foolproof, so premium spice blends are created in small batches with every package hand-sealed. His signature chef blend line contains all-natural garlic, artisan sea salts and exotic ingredients from around the world.
