Berbere Ethiopian Spice Blend
Berbere is a traditional spicy seasoning blend that is the flavor cornerstone of Ethiopian cooking. Like most traditional spice blends, berbere has as many variations as there are Ethiopian cooks. Our interpretation of this flavorful East African spice blend combines cayenne pepper with thyme, allspice, cardamom and other spices.
Cooking Tip: For more flavor, lightly toast in a non-stick skillet over low heat before using.
Ingredients: Black pepper, coriander, cayenne chili, ajowan allspice, clove, fenugreek, ginger, cinnamon, cardomon.
